The Adelaide Lymphoedema Clinic provides the following services which include advice on how each individual patient can adapt his or her lifestyle to cope with these potentially disabling conditions:
























Consulting Hours
In rooms consulting hours are Monday to Friday,
9:00am to 5:00pm.


Appointments
Appointments can be made by telephoning the Clinic on
8342 9712. Please allow approximately one hour for an initial consultation. A referral from a medical practitioner is not essential to obtain treatment or to obtain a rebate from your private health fund if you have extras cover. We accept referrals from doctors for patients under the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plan, and patients with injuries or conditions covered by WorkCover, Department of Veterans' Affairs, third party claims or other insurances also require a doctor's referral. We consult closely with medical specialists, general practitioners, therapists with specialised skills and other health professionals.

Assessment of, and an intensive treatment programme for, patients with primary or secondary lymphoedema and associated conditions such as cording or cellulitis.

Assessment of, and an intensive treatment programme for, patients with venous oedema.

Assessment of, and advice to, people who do not have lymphoedema but are at risk of developing the condition.

Assessment of, and advice to, people who have lipoedema.

Assessment of, and treatment for, patients who have post-operative or post-injury oedema.

Supply and fitting of off-the-shelf and made-to-measure compression garments for all types of oedema descibed above and for travellers to assist in decreasing the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT).
